Start / Prelube: White Horse Tavern, 567 Hudson St
On-In: Kate’s Joint, 4th St & Ave B
Hares: Doggie Erectus & Just Kyle
Circle Emcees: Pimpy Longstocking & Fast American Dave
Scribe: Doggie Erectus
We gathered at the White Horse Tavern. The theme for this Pre-Halloween Hash is the Day of the Dead so it’s only appropriate that we started at a favorite hangout of some famous dead people that drank here and some of them may have died from drinking too much at this very bar, namely Dylan Thomas, Jack Kerouac, The Clancy Brothers & Bob Dylan, wait, isn’t he supposedly still alive??
It’s pretty hard to be all Dylan Thomas I’m gonna drink 18 shots when the highlight of the evening here is the children’s Halloween Costume Contest, but it was a good start.

We ran past a few notorious dead people hangouts, namely:
The Hanging Tree in Washington Square Park
The Merchant’s House Museum (they re-enacted a 19th Century funeral procession)
The Marble Cemetery
A Wiccan shop where the pack drank jello spiked with brains and eyeballs
And the ultimate horror, the Halloween Adventure Store
After another horrifying drink check of, God forbid, Gatorade, we came to Kate’s Joint and gave out Down-Downs:
The Hares: Doggie Erectus & Just Kyle
A bunch of others
Barnacle got a few for eating DBB’s face and playing up the Monday hash
We had some pretty good costumes going on and our bartenders had enough bloody nose and bullet in the forehead action going on to make us feel right at home, but we eventually ran out of beer and pizza.
On-Out!
