We gathered at the Patriot where they serve $6 pitchers of ale. We tried to act all superior and stay away after they treated us badly at an On-In, but let’s face it, $6 pitchers are too tempting.
We weaved our way to the start and took off on trail. That ale must have been pretty strong because there weren’t enough coherent people that made it to the On-In to give out Down-Downs:

Just Lauren: Again, for stopping in the middle of the road
Visitors: Just Paula & Pretty Woman
What a C*nt: For buying a tourist t-shirt at the start & alcohol abuse
Cheeky Bastard: For taking a dump at the prelube for so long that he missed the start, for being too drunk & going the wrong way at the start
Just Rafa: For wearing his r*ce chip on trail
Bedmaster: For his birthday
Just Mio: For leaving her bag and setting the dog off on a "I smell a cat" frenzy
Fast American Dave: For marking with black chalk and accusing the hares of giving it to him
My cats sleep on my bag all the time and it doesn’t set the dog off. What the heck is Just Mio feeding her cat??
