Here is your marathon weekend schedule. Print this out, carry it with you, and sew your name in your underwear so you can be identified on Tuesday morning at the morgue. Wait, who am I kidding? You probably won’t have your underwear anymore by Tuesday. Better write your name (and next-of-kin) on your forearm with a Sharpie.

PLEASE NOTE: YOU MUST DRINK YOUR BEVERAGES FROM A CUP; NO OPEN CONTAINERS AT ALL! We’ll be at 96th & Fifth til about 2-2:30ish when we’ll head off to the Back Page (Third Ave between 83rd and 84th St.) for more beer, some food, and down downs galore for the 26-miler idiots!

That’s Manhattan, not Brooklyn!!!! Livers can be deposited in medical waste disposal bins after the evening’s activities and a shuttlebus to the morgue will be provided for anyone daft enough to have attended all four days of marathon activities.

ON ON

Okay I forgot a few things in the first email so here’s some more pertinent 411 regards the Sunday of Marathon Weekend:

1. Attn any H3 Marathoners: Former Joint Master and Current Hash Curmugeon Dave Byron-Brown will be hanging out as usual on the course in Brooklyn on the east side of 4th Avenue (at Pacific St. around 7.75 miles), and will be happy to catch and bring to the On-In excess clothing of all types.

2. Alot of people ask, “How will I know where the hashers are?” Well, if within the small universe of 96th & Fifth Avenue, you can’t identify the large group of drunk people shouting obnoxious comments at the r*nners and undoubtedly wearing t-shirts with some form of H3 on them… well then this year, we’re adding a more obvious clue. We’ll be prominently displaying a large Hash foot that looks suspiciously like the one in the attached photo (but without the face in the middle (unless Jon Carey is willing to be nailed to a tree?). So you can keep an eye out for that too. [Editors note: we will be on the Central Park side (right side/west side) of 5th Avenue]

3. Hash Cash on Sunday will be $20. Hey, try and find a better 6-8 hours entertainment any cheaper in NYC, ya cheap bastards!

On On.
